Case Study

Salestier

Salestier is a customer-centred company who identified the need for better sales visibility. By building features harnessing a breadth of data sources, Salestier creates a holistic view to help clients’ teams and businesses perform better. Their services include sales analytics, account management and team performance functionality. Founded in 2020, the company has experienced remarkable growth, and we spoke to Salestier founder John Hannon about his businesses challenges with financial tracking and accounting as a growing company, as well as his experience with Outmin.

Challenge

John was quoted 7k Euro by a traditional accountant for the initial costs of registering his company. Not knowing of any other alternatives, and a quick Google search suggesting only accounting software like Xero or Quickbooks, John was unsure of his options. After posting on the noticeboard in Dogpatch, an Irish start-up acccelerator, he was introduced to Ross and David from Outmin.

Solution

We asked John what drove the decision to choose Outmin.

“Right price point and the time saving sounded great”.

According to John, Outmin has eliminated some of the manual data gathering required for Enterprise Ireland and the Revenue. These were a real pain point for the company, and Shane, their dedicated accountant, deals with all that now. Dealing with compliance – things like VAT returns – has also been an annoyance in the past.

The Impact

Outmin saves John the cost of a full-time accountancy hire (€60,000), or doing it himself (€10,000). The speed of responses from Outmin are “uncommonly good”.

On Outmin

“Incredibly happy with it. No request that hasn’t been met. Outmin has an incredible team”

“Fire and forget accountancy – large portion of your business looked after by a safe pair of hands”
