Parklife Cafe

Parklife Cafe is a trendy, cozy cafe in the heart of Harold’s Cross in Dublin. Established by food enthusiasts Shaun and Carrie, Parklife soon gained a reputation for its exceptional quality coffee and warm ambiance. Shaun and Carrie came to us with some worries about their financial visibility and compliance requirements. We sat with them to discuss how Outmin overcame their challenges and its incredible impact on their business.

Challenge

Parklife had worked with the same accountant from the start; he used Quickbooks to manage their accounts. But, their accountant wasn’t very responsive, so they never knew what was happening or where the business stood financially. 

They tried to do the bookkeeping themselves, but they still struggled to get a clear picture of their finances. On top of that, they were thinking about becoming a limited company, but their accountant wasn’t much help. All in all, it was a very frustrating situation for them.

Solution

We started working with Parklife after meeting with Carrie and Shaun at a café. We took the time to get to know them and what they needed help with. We explained how our services could make their lives a lot simpler when it comes to managing their finances.

We went through all of Parklife’s old paperwork and transactions and sorted everything out. We gave them an updated version of their accounts so they could keep track of their finances better. And, we also helped them turn into a limited company smoothly.

Here’s what we did to make it work: We hooked up Parklife’s bank account to our system, which meant we could automatically bring in all their daily transactions. No more manual data entry and everything was spot-on accurate.

Next, we got in touch with all the suppliers for Parklife and told them about the switch to Outmin. We also gave them our email address for any communication and billing. This way, Parklife didn’t have to go after the paperwork anymore since suppliers could just send everything straight to Outmin. Much simpler, right?
